Just last week we featured a short look at the making of the stop-motion animated feature Pirates! Band of Misfits which delved into the painstaking process of making an animated film frame-by-frame. Now we have another stop-motion featurette, but this one is just for the adults. Now that he's made quite a splash in the United States garnering plenty of acclaim and awards for his turn as George Valentin in The Artist, the time has come for French actor Jean Dujardin to take on a big blockbuster role. As this video so bluntly, and quite accurately, points out, it's a tradition for a big European actor to play the villain in any number of spy/action thrillers. Thankfully, Dujardin's representatives have set him up on a whole slew of auditions that would see him facing off with the likes of James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Ethan Hunt, Jason Bourne, the Spy Kids and even those pesky Bridesmaids too. Osombie is a feature-length zombie film, packed with "violence, mayhem, guns, blood and discussions about Pokemon. Oh, and zombies. Lots of zombies." Starring Corey Sevier and Eve Mauro, the project is some wild action B-movie about Osama Bin Laden who returns as a zombie, and some guy and girl who go to Afghanistan to find and kill him and his zombie horde. While the film is shot and edited, it has a Kickstarter to collect more funds to finish, but this teaser trailer (via TMB) has actual footage and effects, and it looks crazy. Have fun! ›››

While there's been rumblings that a sequel to the John Hughes classic comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off might actually get off the ground, I think we're all hoping that the film just quietly goes away. However, for those who just want a little taste of a grown up Ferris Bueller, you may want to feast your eyes on this new Super Bowl commercial for the Honda CRV featuring Matthew Broderick (kind of) reprising his role as everyone's favorite righteous dude. However, everyone's favorite Jim Henson creations are back, but this time they mean business. After the film hit the box office and please most critics and audiences alike, a bit of an eyebrow-raising report came from Fox News claiming that the film was trying to brainwash kids into being against capitalism, oil companies and generally forcing a liberal agenda down their throats. While it's impossible to explain the experience of the Sundance Film Festival without actually being here in the cold and snow, there are some ways we can still give everyone a taste of what it's like to attend. When you're here, you start to hear many phrases repeated over and over, many of them becoming quite iconic, legendary, and often amusing to hear.
