by Medioh News Bot on Feb.20, 2012, under Featurettes, General News, Humor, Movie News, To Watch
Just last week we featured a short look at the making of the stop-motion animated feature Pirates! Band of Misfits which delved into the painstaking process of making an animated film frame-by-frame. Now we have another stop-motion featurette, but this one is just for the adults. Director Todd Strauss-Schulson called our attention to this hilarious A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas featurette that you won't find on the Blu-Ray or DVD release. In it, you'll get a look at the film's raunchy tribute to classic animated Christmas specials of the past and see the many Easter eggs you probably missed in theaters. Check it out below! ›››

Watch: ‘The Artist’ Star Jean Dujardin Auditions for Every Villain Role
by Medioh News Bot on Feb.09, 2012, under General News, Humor, Movie News, To Watch
Now that he's made quite a splash in the United States garnering plenty of acclaim and awards for his turn as George Valentin in The Artist, the time has come for French actor Jean Dujardin to take on a big blockbuster role. As this video so bluntly, and quite accurately, points out, it's a tradition for a big European actor to play the villain in any number of spy/action thrillers. Thankfully, Dujardin's representatives have set him up on a whole slew of auditions that would see him facing off with the likes of James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Ethan Hunt, Jason Bourne, the Spy Kids and even those pesky Bridesmaids too. Watch: Wild Zombie-Filled Teaser Trailer for ‘Osombie’ Hits the Web
by Medioh News Bot on Feb.06, 2012, under General News, Humor, Indies, Movie News, To Watch, Trailers
"Someone's going to have to say... enough!" You've got to see this, I can't believe it's even real! Osombie is a feature-length zombie film, packed with "violence, mayhem, guns, blood and discussions about Pokemon. Oh, and zombies. Lots of zombies." Starring Corey Sevier and Eve Mauro, the project is some wild action B-movie about Osama Bin Laden who returns as a zombie, and some guy and girl who go to Afghanistan to find and kill him and his zombie horde. While the film is shot and edited, it has a Kickstarter to collect more funds to finish, but this teaser trailer (via TMB) has actual footage and effects, and it looks crazy. Have fun! ›››

Matthew Broderick Back as Ferris Bueller in Super Bowl Commercial
by Medioh News Bot on Jan.30, 2012, under Cool Stuff, General News, Humor, Movie News, To Watch
While there's been rumblings that a sequel to the John Hughes classic comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off might actually get off the ground, I think we're all hoping that the film just quietly goes away. However, for those who just want a little taste of a grown up Ferris Bueller, you may want to feast your eyes on this new Super Bowl commercial for the Honda CRV featuring Matthew Broderick (kind of) reprising his role as everyone's favorite righteous dude. Directed by The Hangover helmer Todd Phillips, it puts a fun modern spin on some of the original film's more iconic moments, and works as a fun commercial. Watch! ›››

‘The Muppets’ Strike Back at Fox News After Brainwashing Reports
by Medioh News Bot on Jan.30, 2012, under General News, Humor, Hype, Movie News, To Watch
There were plenty of videos we featured throughout the lead-up to the release of The Muppets in theaters last November. However, everyone's favorite Jim Henson creations are back, but this time they mean business. After the film hit the box office and please most critics and audiences alike, a bit of an eyebrow-raising report came from Fox News claiming that the film was trying to brainwash kids into being against capitalism, oil companies and generally forcing a liberal agenda down their throats. Disney and the filmmakers remained quiet, but now there's finally a response from their fearless leader Kermit the Frog. ›››

Watch: Funny ‘Sh*t People Say’ at the Sundance Film Festival Video
by Medioh News Bot on Jan.28, 2012, under General News, Humor, Movie News, Sundance 12, To Watch
While it's impossible to explain the experience of the Sundance Film Festival without actually being here in the cold and snow, there are some ways we can still give everyone a taste of what it's like to attend. For example, this video that was sent over by my friend Eric from IONCinema.com called "Shit People Say at Sundance 2012", featuring some guy named Alexander Norton. When you're here, you start to hear many phrases repeated over and over, many of them becoming quite iconic, legendary, and often amusing to hear. This video parodies many of those phrases and gives you a fun idea of what it's like to be here at the festival. ›››

Watch: Fantastic ‘Lion King’ and ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Mash-Up
by Medioh News Bot on Jan.03, 2012, under General News, Humor, Movie News, TDKR News, To Watch
No matter what your stance on the debacle over the seemingly incomprehensible voice of Tom Hardy playing Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, we can all pretty much agree that the second trailer for Christopher Nolan's anticipated conclusion still delivered what audiences wanted. Now that trailer comes to us in a whole new light as Mashable has uncovered a rather awesome trailer mash-up from YouTube user MovieMaestroTen (via SlashFilm) that takes the audio from The Dark Knight Rises trailer and places it over perfectly edited footage from The Lion King to make Disney's epic, The Lion King Rises. Watch below! ...

Five Things from Holiday Movies That I Actually Want for Christmas

By now, if you haven't made a list of what you wanted for Christmas, you're probably getting a gift card or some money and will have to fend for yourself as Soccer Mom's and Football Dad's fight over the big deals at the mall.
